Football
It is our responsibility to make sure children are allowed to grow to the height of their potential and experience new challenges contributing to their development.
The turn taking and teamwork during ‘sports’ activities allow children to learn the value of friendship and partnership, and help develop good relationships.
Everyone has the opportunity to lead others through a series of movements: hopping, running, jumping, or balancing. Concentration, observation and listening skills are needed to keep up.
Some of the benefits children develop by participating in a sport like football: develops positive self-esteem, builds cooperation, grater focus for the child, improves concentration, enhances fitness muscle toning and stronger bones.
Tennis
All children benefit from rolling, catching, kicking, dribbling, and tossing a ball. Playing with balls improves child’s motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and timing, which are critical part of the development progression of children.
Balls help build balance skills and allow little ones to practice transferring an object from one hand to the other.
Some of the benefits children develop by participating in a sport like tennis: bone strength, hand-eye coordination, aerobic and cardiovascular exercise, speed, flexibility, gross motor coordination, fine motor coordination, agility, dynamic balance, and immune system.
In a nutshell, “tennis” is the sport of the lifetime as it is social and fun, boosts immune system, and enhances mental development.
Dance and Music
Dance and Music are much more than just fun activities for children. In fact, it is very beneficial for pre-schoolers to participate in performing arts.
Here are some of the benefits children develop by being part of performing arts: Children learn new things, like sounds, words and patterns through music.
These activities stimulate connections in the growing bran. It helps children cultivate communication skills. Music and dance allows children to express themselves by releasing their emotions and expressing their feelings. It also helps them foster physical skills like balance, control and coordination. Most importantly the creative activities contribute to imagination.
Yoga
Practicing Yoga is important for children as it teaches them how to be more mindful.
Yoga improves balance, strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity in children.
Yoga and mindfulness provides so many benefits including supporting learning, healing, stress release and every day life. Moreover, Yoga promotes healthy bodies (i.e. stretching, strengthening and coordination), manages stress (i.e. controlled breathing), improves balance, and many more.
All these benefits make it clear that yoga is an important mechanism in our children’s physical, mental and spiritual well being.
Possessive Art
The Possessive Art is valuable because it allows children to process their world, to deal with emotions in a safe way, and express themselves through the process of creating.
There are numerous arts and craft activities that can engage children and nurture their activity. Possessive Arts help in the physical and social development of children.
Here are some of the benefits of Arts for children: The development of fine motor skills; improved agility; improved hand-eye coordination; boosts self-esteem; encourages self expression; improved socialising; promotes creativity; enhances decision making; improved memory; enhanced flexibility.
